Year two (2009/10)
In September 2009 the Department of Health published new guidance for World Class Commissioning.
Year 2 had a strong focus on efficiency - linking to Quality, Innovation Productivity and Prevention (QIPP) - this will be a national work programme. Nationally, PCTs were asked to review their Strategic Commissioning Plan and the finance that supports them to ensure they are still affordable.
